Cold; indifferent; heartless; unkind. Describes someone who responds with coldness or dismissiveness to another person's feelings or advances.
An i-adjective written in hiragana. The word appears frequently in romantic and literary contexts to describe emotional unavailability or deliberate coldness toward someone who cares.
