ひたむき
意味
Earnest; wholehearted; single-minded; devoted. Describes total, undivided dedication to a goal or task without distraction.
A na-adjective (also used adverbially as ひたむきに) expressing pure, concentrated dedication. Unlike 一生懸命 (doing one's utmost), ひたむき emphasises the quality of the focus itself — the undistracted gaze forward. Often evokes pathos or admiration. Common in literary, sports, and inspirational contexts.
