Intellectual; showing intelligence and refined thinking. Describes an impression of cultivated intellect.
A na-adjective describing someone or something that gives an impression of refined intelligence and thoughtfulness. Often used for personal appearance, demeanour, or atmosphere: 知性的な顔立ち (an intellectual face), 知性的な雰囲気 (an intellectual atmosphere).
