錯綜
Meaning
Complication; entanglement; complexity. Describes a situation where multiple threads, interests, or factors are intertwined in a confusing manner.
A verbal noun used with する (錯綜する). It emphasises not just complexity but the tangled, overlapping nature of that complexity — interests that conflict, stories that contradict, or events that interweave.
