出来高
Meaning
Output; production; trading volume; turnover. The quantity of goods produced or the number of transactions executed in a given period.
A noun with two primary uses: (1) in manufacturing, the volume of goods produced (生産出来高); (2) in securities and finance, the trading volume of a stock or market. 出来高払い (dekidaka barai) is piece-rate or performance-based pay. In market analysis, high 出来高 on a price move is considered confirmation of the trend's strength.
