便宜上
意味
For convenience; as a matter of convenience. Done pragmatically rather than ideally.
An adverb used to explain that something is done for practical reasons rather than because it is technically correct or ideal: 便宜上そう呼んでいる (we call it that for convenience). Very common in academic, technical, and business writing where provisional names, categories, or methods are adopted for practical purposes.
