光明磊落
含义
Open and upright; transparent and honourable in conduct. Describes a person who acts with complete integrity, has nothing to hide, and whose motives and actions are fully transparent.
A four-character idiom of high moral praise. Often appears in eulogies, character testimonials, and political speeches. The opposite is 阴险狡诈 (devious and crafty). Frequently used in the construction 为人光明磊落 (a person of open and upright character) or 行事光明磊落 (to conduct oneself with complete integrity).
