内在
Meaning
Inherence; immanence; existing within something intrinsically. Refers to qualities or forces residing inside a thing rather than being imposed from outside.
A noun and suru-verb (内在する) used in philosophy, social science, and academic writing. 内在する矛盾 (inherent contradiction) and 内在的な問題 (immanent problem) are common academic collocations. Contrasts with 超越 (transcendence) in philosophical usage. In contemporary discourse it also appears in analyses of systemic problems embedded within social structures.
