蓋然性
Meaning
Probability; likelihood; the degree to which something is plausible or likely to occur. Used in academic, philosophical, and logical contexts.
A formal noun derived from Western philosophical terminology (cf. German Probabilität). It refers to the evidential or logical weight behind a proposition's likelihood, and is distinct from mere possibility (可能性).
