妥結する
Meaning
To reach a settlement; to come to terms; to conclude an agreement. Used when two parties in a dispute or negotiation finally agree.
A Group 3 (irregular) suru-verb. 妥結 (daketsu) is the noun form, describing the act of reaching a mutually acceptable conclusion after negotiation. Most commonly associated with labour-management wage negotiations (春闘, shunto), contract negotiations, and legal settlements.
