亀レス
意味
A very late reply to a message or forum post — literally 'turtle response,' acknowledging the slowness.
亀レス combines 亀 (kame, turtle) with レス (resu, from English 'response'). It describes replying to a message long after it was sent — like a turtle slowly arriving. It is often used as a self-deprecating preface when finally responding to an old message: '亀レスだけど…' (turtle response but…). Common in both forum culture (replying to old threads) and personal messaging (finally texting back days later).
