Meaning
Good; fine; all right. The honorific form of いい/良い, used in polite and formal contexts.
An i-adjective that is the respectful (honorific) equivalent of いい or 良い. Used by teachers, doctors, and in business: よろしいですか (is that all right?). Also appears in the set phrase よろしくお願いします. Should not be used about oneself as it would sound arrogant — it is used about or towards others.

- お名前をお聞きしてもよろしいでしょうか。 Would it be all right if I asked your name?
