漏れる
Meaning
To leak; to escape; to be omitted; to be disclosed. Used of fluids, information, light, or names that slip through unintentionally.
A Group 2 (ichidan) verb conjugated by dropping る and adding the appropriate ending. It covers a wide semantic range — physical leaking (水が漏れる), disclosure of secrets (情報が漏れる), and being left out (名前が漏れる). The subject is always what slips out, not the agent causing it.
