ダイバーシティ
Meaning
Diversity; the English loanword version used as a corporate inclusion buzzword in Japanese workplaces.
ダイバーシティ is used alongside or interchangeably with 多様性 but carries a more corporate, trendy feel. Companies create 'ダイバーシティ推進部' (diversity promotion departments), publish ダイバーシティ reports, and use the term in recruitment marketing. Some workers view it cynically as corporate window dressing, especially when visible changes are minimal. The loanword form often signals a company is trying to appear progressive and internationally minded.
Examples

- ダイバーシティ研修を受けたけど、正直形だけだった。 I attended a diversity training, but honestly it was just going through the motions.
