雨天決行
意味
Will be held rain or shine; no postponement due to rain. An announcement that an event proceeds regardless of rainy weather.
A four-character compound noun used almost exclusively in event announcements and signage. It tells attendees that the event will proceed even if it rains. The opposite expression is 雨天中止 (uten chuushi, cancelled in case of rain). Commonly paired with 荒天中止 (kouten chuushi, cancelled in severe weather) to indicate the event goes ahead in rain but not in storms.
