A formal noun used in administrative, legal, and business writing to confirm the receipt of goods, documents, or funds. More formal than 受け取り. 受領書 is a formal receipt document; 受領確認 is confirmation of receipt. Commonly appears in formal correspondence: 受領しました (I have received). The verb form is 受領する.
