飽和
意味
Saturation; fullness to capacity. Describes a state in which something has reached its maximum capacity and can absorb or accommodate no more.
Used in chemistry to describe a saturated solution (飽和溶液), but broadly applied to markets (市場の飽和, market saturation), social phenomena, and media landscapes. The verbal noun form 飽和する means 'to become saturated.' 飽和状態 (saturated state) is a common set phrase. Often carries a negative implication of overcrowding or excess.
