Autoproclamarse; decirse; ser tenido por (a veces con escepticismo).

Can be neutral (officially known as) or carry light scepticism (claims to be, but...). Often used in journalism and commentary to introduce claimed titles, reputations, or exaggerated boasts. Different from 被称为 which is purely neutral.
