一个劲儿
Meaning
Persistently; continuously; without stopping. Describes doing something with unrelenting effort or repetition, often to an excessive or slightly irritating degree.
A colloquial adverb used primarily in northern Chinese dialects. The 儿化 (erhua) suffix marks it as informal and spoken. It conveys relentlessness — often with a slightly negative connotation of stubbornness or excessiveness. Example: 一个劲儿地说、一个劲儿地哭、一个劲儿地催.
