Meaning

Moreover; furthermore; what is more. Used to add surprising or emphatic information to a previous statement.

A conjunction that connects sentences by adding information that strengthens or builds upon the previous statement. Often introduces something unexpected or noteworthy. Unlike そして (and then), which simply connects events, しかも carries a sense of emphasis or surprise.
