連なる
Meaning
To extend; to stretch out; to stand in a row; to form a line or series.
A Group 1 (godan) intransitive verb describing things arranged or extending in a continuous line or series. Used for mountain ranges stretching across a landscape, shops lining a street, or people queuing. Carries a visual, somewhat literary quality. Also used figuratively as 名を連ねる (to have one's name listed among).
