Meaning
Point of view; viewpoint; standpoint. A position from which something is considered or evaluated.
A formal noun used to express the perspective or standpoint from which a matter is examined. More literary and formal than 立場 (position/standpoint) or 観点 (perspective). Often appears with the particle から as ~の見地から (from the standpoint of ~). Common in academic writing, policy discussions, and formal argumentation.

- 教育的な見地からこの問題を考えるべきだ。 We should consider this issue from an educational standpoint.
- 法律の見地から見ると、この契約には問題がある。 From a legal standpoint, this contract has some problems.
