境地
Meaning
State of mind; a level of inner attainment or awareness reached through experience or mastery. Also refers to a physical territory or domain.
A noun used in two main senses: (1) a mental or spiritual state achieved through training, experience, or enlightenment — as in 無我の境地 (a state of selflessness); (2) a physical territory or domain. In literary and philosophical contexts, sense (1) predominates, conveying the inner world or level of mastery someone has attained beyond ordinary experience.
