校訂
Meaning
Textual revision; critical editing. The scholarly process of collating manuscript variants and establishing an authoritative text.
A noun (also する verb) describing the philological work of comparing multiple manuscript versions of a text to identify scribal errors, interpolations, or variant readings, and producing a critically established edition.
