界隈

Neighbourhood; vicinity; surrounding area; a particular quarter or district. Also used for a community or scene (especially online).

In modern internet and social media usage, 界隈 has extended to mean a community or scene — for example, アニメ界隈 (the anime community) or SNS界隈 (the social media scene). Both uses are now widely current.
