Meaning
Saturation point. The precise threshold at which a system reaches its maximum capacity and can accept no more of a given substance or input.
Related to but more specific than 飽和状態, 飽和点 identifies the exact solubility limit of a solute at a given temperature. Also used in electronics (transistor saturation), economics (demand saturation), and everyday language to describe a point of overwhelm. Knowing the 飽和点 is essential for industrial process control and quality management.
Examples
The saturation point of sodium chloride at this temperature is approximately 360 grams per litre of water.
Once the market saturation point is exceeded, price competition tends to intensify further.
After the saturation point is reached, adding more solute does not change the concentration of the solution.
