軍議
Meaning
War council; military conference. A formal deliberation among military commanders to decide strategy or tactics.
A historical and literary term most often encountered in accounts of feudal Japanese warfare and classical narratives. In modern usage it appears in historical fiction, academic writing, and metaphorically in business or political contexts to denote a high-stakes strategy meeting. Less common in everyday speech than its synonym 作戦会議.
