一晃
Meaning
In a flash; in the blink of an eye. Describes the rapid passage of time or a brief, almost imperceptible moment of movement or appearance.
Used in two related senses: (1) the swift passage of time — 一晃十年过去了 (in a flash, ten years have passed); (2) a fleeting physical appearance — 他的身影一晃就消失了 (his silhouette flashed by and vanished). Both senses share the core meaning of brevity and speed.
