再 (again in the future)
含义
The adverb 再 (zài) expresses doing something 'again' in the future or repeating an action that has not yet happened. It always refers to actions that will occur from this point forward.
再 and 又 (yòu) both translate to 'again' in English, but they differ in tense. 再 is exclusively for future or unrealized actions, while 又 refers to past actions that have already been repeated. For example, 他明天再来 means 'he will come again tomorrow,' but 他昨天又来了 means 'he came again yesterday.' 再 can also express 'then' in sequences: 先吃饭,再写作业 means 'eat first, then do homework.' In negative commands, 别再 or 不要再 means 'don't do it again.' 再 is always placed before the verb it modifies.
