Meaning

Which; which one. An interrogative pronoun for choosing among three or more items.

The question word in the ko-so-a-do pronoun series, used when selecting from three or more options. For choosing between two items, どちら is used instead. Often followed by が or を. どれでも means 'any one at all.' Also used as an interjection meaning 'let me see' when about to examine something.

Examples

  1. どれが一番好きですか。 Which one do you like the best?
  2. どれでもいいですよ。 Any one is fine.
  3. この中でどれを選びますか。 Which one will you choose from these?
