Body temperature. The internal temperature of the human body.
Commonly used with 測る (to measure) and 計 (thermometer, as in 体温計). Became an especially frequent word during the COVID-19 pandemic when temperature checks became routine. Normal body temperature in Japanese is typically stated as 36度台 (around 36 degrees Celsius).
