対句
意味
Couplet; antithesis; parallel construction. A rhetorical device in which two phrases or lines mirror each other in grammatical structure, often with contrasting or complementary meaning.
Central to Chinese-influenced Japanese poetry and prose, particularly in kanshi (Chinese-style poetry), kamubun (Chinese-style prose), and classical Japanese rhetoric. 対句 creates rhythmic and semantic balance. In Chinese regulated verse, 対句 is a strict formal requirement. In Japanese rhetoric, it is used for emphasis and aesthetic effect.
