开题人
Meaning
A student currently stuck in or focused on the thesis proposal stage.
开题人 labels the period before real thesis writing feels settled: choosing a topic, defending a proposal, changing direction, or waiting for supervisor feedback. It is a student-life identity, not a formal title.
