一大早
Meaning
Very early in the morning; at the crack of dawn. Used to describe an action or event that occurs at an unusually or impressively early hour.
A colloquial time expression functioning as an adverbial phrase. It carries a mildly emphatic or surprised tone, often implying that the early timing is noteworthy. Interchangeable with 大清早 in informal speech. Frequently paired with verbs of movement or activity: 一大早就出发了、一大早赶来.
