一成不变
Meaning
Fixed and unchanging; rigid; inflexible; set in stone. Describes something or someone that does not adapt or evolve despite changing circumstances.
A four-character idiom (成语). 一成 originally referred to 'one fixed proportion' in classical usage; 不变 means 'does not change.' Used to criticise rigidity in thinking, method, or routine. Implies that flexibility or innovation is lacking. Can describe people, systems, methods, or habits.

Don't Say
