闺女
Meaning
Daughter; maiden; an unmarried young woman. An affectionate or colloquial term for one's own daughter or a young woman.
Warm and intimate register, particularly in northern Chinese dialects. Parents often use it to refer to their own daughters with affection. In a broader sense, it can refer to any young unmarried woman, carrying connotations of innocence and youthfulness. More intimate than 女儿 in spoken northern Mandarin.
