Meaning

Sumptuous; lavish; bountiful. Describes a feast, meal, or spread that is richly abundant and satisfying.

Almost exclusively used for food and banquets: 丰盛的晚宴 (sumptuous banquet), 丰盛的年夜饭 (lavish New Year's Eve dinner). Stronger than 丰富 when applied to food. Carries a warm, celebratory connotation.
