Meaning
One of; one among. Used after a superlative or descriptor to indicate membership in a group.
Always used after a noun or noun phrase to mean 'one of them'. A very common construction: 最重要的问题之一 (one of the most important issues), 世界最大城市之一 (one of the world's largest cities). It cannot stand alone and must follow a modified noun.

- 把'之一'放在句子末尾的数量短语后 (Don't use 之一 in contexts where it isn't preceded by a superlative or group noun — the structure requires a qualified noun phrase before it, such as 最...的...之一)
