Nature, Environment & Physical Forces

Vocabulary for landscape, environment, weather, and the physical world at advanced level

Introduction

Japanese describes the natural world with remarkable precision, and N1 pushes that precision further. This chapter covers environmental language, terrain, natural forces, and the physical conditions that appear in essays, documentaries, fiction, and news.

These words help you read descriptions of the world not just as background scenery, but as systems, risks, and lived environments.
