台パン
Meaning
Desk punch — slamming or punching a desk out of frustration, especially during gaming when things go badly wrong.
台パン is a compound of 台 (desk/table/stand) and パン, clipped from パンチ (punch). It originated in arcade gaming culture where frustrated players would slam the arcade cabinet (筐体/きょうたい), and later transferred to home gaming where the desk takes the abuse. It's used both literally (actually hitting your desk) and figuratively (expressing that something is frustrating enough to make you want to). In streaming culture, the sound of a 台パン mid-game has become almost comedic — viewers often react with 台パンwww in chat. It can also appear as a verb: 台パンする.
Examples

- 配信者が台パンする音聞こえて笑った。 I heard the streamer desk-punch mid-game and cracked up.
- 台パンしたいくらいイライラするステージだった。 That stage was so infuriating I wanted to desk-punch.
