  1. みせ Store; shop. A general term for any retail establishment or small restaurant.
  2. 買い物 かいもの Shopping; the act of buying things. Also refers to purchased goods or items bought.
  3. 値段 ねだん Price; cost. The amount of money asked for goods or services.
  4. 高い たかい High; tall; expensive. One of the most versatile and frequently used i-adjectives.
  5. 安い やすい Cheap; inexpensive; affordable. Used to describe low prices or good deals.
  6. イクラ いくら Salted salmon roe. A popular sushi topping known for its bright orange colour and pop-in-the-mouth texture.
  7. お釣り おつり Change; the money returned after a purchase when you pay more than the price.
  8. えん Yen; the official currency of Japan. Also means circle or round.
  9. 千円 せんえん 1000 yen. A common monetary denomination used in everyday transactions in Japan.
  10. 百円 ひゃくえん 100 yen. The base coin denomination frequently used in everyday shopping.
  11. 万円 まんえん 10,000 yen. The largest standard bill denomination in Japanese currency.
