  18. いぬ Dog; canine. The most common domestic pet in Japan alongside cats.
  19. ねこ Cat; feline. One of the most beloved animals in Japanese culture.
  20. とり Bird. A general term for feathered, winged animals.
  21. 動物 どうぶつ Animal. A general term for all creatures in the animal kingdom.
  22. いけ Pond. A small, still body of water, often found in parks and gardens.
  23. 暑い あつい Hot; warm; sultry. Describes hot weather or ambient temperature.
  24. 暖かい あたたかい Warm; mild; pleasantly hot. Describes comfortable, gentle warmth.
  25. 涼しい すずしい Cool; refreshing. Describes a pleasantly cool temperature.
