  1. 意気込み いきごみ Ardor; enthusiasm. A strong feeling of eagerness and determination toward something.
  2. いただき Summit; peak; crown of the head. The very top of something, especially a mountain.
  3. 雨天 うてん Rainy weather. A formal term describing weather conditions with rain.
  4. 雨天決行 うてんけっこう Will be held rain or shine; no postponement due to rain. An announcement that an event proceeds regardless of rainy weather.
  5. 大雨洪水注意報 おおあめこうずいちゅういほう Heavy rain and flood advisory. An official weather warning issued when heavy rain may cause flooding.
  6. 温室効果 おんしつこうか Greenhouse effect. The warming of the Earth's atmosphere caused by gases that trap heat.
  7. 海流 かいりゅう Ocean current. A continuous flow of seawater in a particular direction.
  8. 化石 かせき Fossil. The preserved remains or traces of ancient organisms found in rock.
  9. 河川 かせん Rivers. A formal collective term for rivers and waterways.
  10. 河川工事 かせんこうじ River construction work; riparian works. Engineering projects to maintain, repair, or improve river infrastructure.
  11. 花壇 かだん Flower bed. A cultivated area of ground in a garden or park where flowers are planted.
  12. 下流 かりゅう Downstream; lower reaches of a river. The part of a river closer to where it empties into the sea.
  13. 干ばつ かんばつ Drought. A prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall leading to water shortages.
  14. 気合 きあい Fighting spirit; motivation; vigor. A burst of mental energy and determination.
  15. 気圧 きあつ Atmospheric pressure; air pressure. The force exerted by the weight of air in the atmosphere.
  16. 気質 きしつ Disposition; temperament; nature. The inherent character traits that define a person or group.
  17. 気象 きしょう Weather; weather conditions; meteorology. The state of the atmosphere at a given time and place.
  18. 季節柄 きせつがら Given the season; considering the time of year. An expression acknowledging that something is typical or expected for the current season.
  19. 気絶する きぜつする To faint; to pass out; to lose consciousness. A sudden loss of awareness, typically brief.
  20. 気品 きひん Elegance; refinement; grace; dignity. An air of sophistication and noble bearing.
  21. 気まぐれ きまぐれ Whim; caprice; fickleness. Acting on sudden impulses without consistency.
  22. 気力 きりょく Willpower; energy; vitality. The mental strength and drive to keep going.
  23. けもの Beast; wild animal; brute. A general term for four-legged wild mammals.
  24. 豪雨 ごうう Torrential rain; heavy rain; downpour. Extremely heavy rainfall, often causing damage.
  25. 砂漠化 さばくか Desertification. The process by which fertile land becomes desert due to climate change, deforestation, or overuse.
  26. 惨事 さんじ Disaster; tragedy; tragic incident. A terrible event that causes suffering or destruction.
  27. 浄化 じょうか Purification; cleansing. The process of making something pure or clean.

  31. 前線 ぜんせん Front (weather). A boundary between two air masses of different temperature or humidity.
  32. 遭難 そうなん Meeting with disaster; having an accident. Being caught in a dangerous situation, especially in mountains or at sea.
  33. 大惨事 だいさんじ Great disaster; catastrophe; major tragedy. An event of extreme devastation or loss.
  34. 天候不良 てんこうふりょう Bad weather; adverse weather conditions. Used formally to explain cancellations or delays.
  35. 天災 てんさい Natural disaster; natural calamity; act of God. A catastrophe caused by natural forces.
  36. 天体 てんたい Heavenly body; celestial body; astronomical object. A natural object in space such as a star, planet, or moon.
  37. 天体観測 てんたいかんそく Astronomical observation; stargazing. The act of observing celestial bodies.
  38. 天体望遠鏡 てんたいぼうえんきょう Astronomical telescope. A telescope designed for observing celestial objects.
  39. 天然記念物 てんねんきねんぶつ Natural monument. A plant, animal, geological formation, or mineral officially designated for protection.
  40. 土砂降り どしゃぶり Downpour; pouring rain; heavy rain. Extremely heavy rainfall.
  41. 排気ガス はいきガス Exhaust fumes; exhaust gas. The waste gases emitted by engines and industrial processes.
  42. 廃棄物 はいきぶつ Waste matter; garbage; trash. Materials discarded after use, especially in industrial or legal contexts.
  43. 排出 はいしゅつ Discharge; emission; excretion. The act of releasing or expelling substances outward.
  44. 被災 ひさい Suffering from a disaster; being hit by a natural calamity. Falling victim to an earthquake, typhoon, or similar event.
  45. 人気のない ひとけのない Deserted; empty of people; desolate. A place where no one is around.

  48. 風俗 ふうぞく Manners; customs; social practices. The traditional ways and habits of a society or era.
  49. 風土 ふうど Natural features; climate and topography of a region. The environmental and cultural character of a place.
  50. 復旧 ふっきゅう Restoration; recovery; rehabilitation. Returning something to its original working state after damage or disruption.
  51. 復興 ふっこう Revival; reconstruction; restoration. The process of rebuilding and recovering after devastation.
  52. 噴火 ふんか Eruption; volcanic eruption. The violent release of lava, ash, and gas from a volcano.
  53. 密林 みつりん Dense forest; jungle; thick woods. A forest so thickly grown that passage is difficult.
  54. みなもと Source; origin; fountainhead. The point where a river begins or where something originates.
  55. 猛獣 もうじゅう Fierce animal; beast of prey; dangerous wild animal. A large, aggressive animal capable of harming humans.
  56. 木星 もくせい Jupiter. The fifth planet from the Sun and the largest in the solar system.
  57. 有害 ゆうがい Harmful; hazardous; noxious. Having a negative effect on health, safety, or the environment.
  58. 災い わざわい Disaster; calamity; misfortune. An unfortunate event that brings suffering or trouble.
