内 = 冂 + 人 — inner/inside; 向 = 宀(roof) + 口(mouth/opening) — a window facing a direction; direction/orientation
Describes a personality type that is quiet, reflective, and prefers solitary or small-group settings. Not synonymous with shyness (害羞), though they can co-occur. In Chinese cultural contexts, 内向 is viewed neutrally or positively (associated with thoughtfulness) and sometimes negatively (associated with poor social skills).

トーン: neutral/descriptive
(Being introverted does not equal being reserved, nor does it mean being withdrawn — many introverted people have active minds; they simply aren't used to proactively expressing their thoughts to the outside world.)
(Managers should recognise that introverted employees often excel at independent, deep-focus work, and too many team meetings can actually reduce their productivity.)
- 将'内向'等同于'自卑'或'社交障碍' — 内向 describes an orientation of energy toward the inner world; it does not imply low self-esteem or social impairment
