To total; to amount to in all. Used to express an aggregate count or sum, often as a verb or adverb in financial and statistical contexts.

Used in reports, invoices, and statistics to state a final aggregated figure. Unlike 总额 (which is purely a noun), 总计 functions both as a verb (totalling up) and as an adverb meaning 'in total'.
