原装
Meaning
Original packaging; genuine article as originally packaged by the manufacturer; authentic and factory-sealed, not a counterfeit or repackaged imitation.
Primarily used in consumer goods and electronics to describe products in their original, factory-sealed condition from the authentic manufacturer. 原装正品 (genuine article in original packaging), 原装进口 (directly imported in original packaging, not domestically assembled), and 原装备件 (OEM parts) are common compound phrases. In China, 原装 signals authenticity in markets where counterfeits are a common concern.
Examples
- 跨境电商普及后,消费者常难辨进口商品是否原装,假货也因此侵蚀了网购信任。 After cross-border e-commerce became widespread, consumers often struggle to tell whether imported goods are original, and counterfeits have eroded trust in online shopping.
- 这款豪华手表若带原装表盒、保修卡和购买凭证,二手价可比单表高三成。 If this luxury watch comes with its original box, warranty card, and purchase receipt, its used price can be 30 percent higher than the watch alone.
- 维护工业设备时,原装备件更贵却更稳,兼容件便宜但可能因细微偏差埋下隐患。 When maintaining industrial equipment, original parts are more expensive but more reliable, while compatible parts are cheaper but may create hidden risks due to small deviations.
