Meaning

Who would have known; unexpectedly; used to express surprise at an unforeseen outcome.

  • 把'哪知道'用在事先已知或可预料的情况下 (哪知道 specifically marks an unexpected outcome — use 果然 or 不出所料 when the result was anticipated or predictable)
