劣势
Meaning
Disadvantage; inferior position; weakness. A state of being at a disadvantage relative to competitors or in a given context.
Antonym of 优势 (advantage/superiority). Used in competitive, strategic, military, and business contexts to describe a position of weakness. Can be used both literally (military or commercial disadvantage) and figuratively (social or intellectual inferiority). Often appears in strategic analysis to identify areas requiring improvement.
