Meaning

Feelings; emotional impressions; reflections stirred by a particular experience or encounter.

More introspective and literary than 感受 (which focuses on sensory experience). 感触 emphasises emotional depth and reflection. Often followed by 颇深 (deeply moved) or 万千 (complex and overwhelming feelings). Common in writing, formal speeches, and personal reflection.

  • 这道菜让我很有感触 — 感触 is for emotional or intellectual reflections on significant experiences, not for sensory pleasure; use 感受 or 感觉 for food enjoyment
