意向
含义
Intention; inclination; preliminary interest or disposition toward an action, often in a business or official context.
Slightly softer than 意图 — 意向 suggests a leaning or preliminary intent rather than a firm plan. Extremely common in business and diplomacy: 合作意向 (cooperation intent), 投资意向 (investment intent), 意向书 (letter of intent). Signals an early-stage, non-binding disposition. Collocations: 签署意向书 (to sign a letter of intent), 表达意向 (to express intent), 明确意向 (to clarify one's intention).
